Default Shifting into 2nd

My car driven normally will shift just fine but if shifting at 5500rpm+ from 1st to second it wont go in, like something is blocking it. What could this be, it just started a month or two ago.

The T-56 is fine with synthetic. I ran synthetic with the 98 paper blocker rings and I still run it after my rebuild. (which I have to say the inside looked like it was in great condition, no usual wear despite having 80k miles.

As far as synthetics go, I find I have an easier time shifting with them in cold weather than I did with regular transmission fluid.

I would use Mobil 1 ATF but we always use synthetic in ours even if a customer with a stock trans calls. If you are having the exact same issue as before I would start with bleeding the hydraulics and making sure that the clutch is working correctly. If you narrowed that down then changing the fluid to fresh Mobil 1 is what I would do.
