the ls7 flywheel weighs 8lbs more then stock if i remember correctly i had one in my ta took great to an *** beating with a bolt on + 100 shot

LS7 is a great clutch I hear. And you can upgrade slave/master with that budget.

I once bought a used Textralia OZ700 and I liked it, for near the same budget.

Exedy-Daiken is one clutch manufacturer. Luk is a seperate company. Luk is the company that makes the OE pressure plate and dics for the LS based motors.

Mcleod has a new clutch kit called the Super Street Pro PN-75223. The kit comes with a flywheel,organic/ceramic disc,pressure plate, pilot bearing and pilot tool.

Clutchmasters FX400 here, love it. I've had it for 3 years too, after a Zo6 (2002) and RAM980.
