I'm in the market for a new clutch, and I've heard mixed reviews about all available products. I want to know what holds the power on slicks, but will slip on the street for comfortable driving. My car is not a daily driver, but it does see much more street use than track use. I am getting a lot of pressure for to use a Ram product, but I had planned on going with a Spec Stage 3.
I need a clutch that can hold 460 RWHP, and slip on the street for smooth take-offs. There should be several ways to get this done, but I just want to hear it from the guys running low 11's and faster, not guys running 12's and guessing.

Mcleod single kevlar here. Adjustable master, 2001 slave. 5800 rpm launchs on nitrous. 100 shot right out of the hole on 28x10.5x15 ET Drags. 1.50 60'. Times in signature.
Smooth on street - what little the SS sees of it. 200+ launchs on it today. Still feels like new.

I say Mcleod street twin. The fastest 4-gens use this.My old 6sp would cut mid-high 1.40 60 fts with it.If adjusted properly you will not hurt it.Very streetable also,no different than factory IMO.

I am currently running a Ram W/910 disk. I also ran a Cartek for two years with no problems. I replaced it just cause i had it apart and didn't want to have it start slipping on me. When i pulled it, it still looked good.

I've tried several clutches: RAM910, McLeod Kevlar, McLeod Organic, McLeod REVLOK
So far the best drivable clutch that holds like a **** has been the Ram

Dollar for dollar I think the ram 910/980/6130 disks with the 402 pp is a hard combo to beat. I fried my Cartek after about 4 months (my fault, bad adjustment and no drill out mod) and did not want to lay out that kind of cash again. So I went with the 6130/402 setup for $350 (given that this price does not include the slave and master like came with the Cartek, just disk and pp). When its time to replace it I'm going with either the same 6130/402 or the 910/402.
As far as chatter and pedal pressure, I think that is a hard thing to quantify. Everybody's tolerance is different. Compared to stock the Cartek and Ram do have more pedal pressure and some chatter, especially after the get heavily worn, but I use these clutches in my daily driver without a problem.

spec s4 here. it has taken A LOT of 5.5k+ dumps on nitrous and motor. went 6.75@103(spray) and consistant 11.30s on motor. on all stock hydrolics including stock master.
