I've accumulated several different part numbers for the same item. Does anyone know the difference in these part #'s?

For the Z06/LS6 clutch:

12570281 ~$295
12562765 ~$308
12570806 ~$320

For the Slave cylinder:

15046288 ~$90
12565145 ~$72
12562767 ~$78

That sure sounds like one of those marketing things they do to confuse shoppers. I had a good experience with Jason @ paceparts.com 888-748-4655 x.173. I just ordered a water pump (screwed up my z06 clutch fund) and he seems pretty knowledgeable but it seemed that their site quoted 299 then he said I believe 309. Wierd. Must be affected by Iraqi relations.

The Z06 clutch kit should come with a flywheel.

Is there any difference between the 01 and 02 Z06 clutch? Hard to imagine they made any substantial changes for the additional 20HP.

I just wanted to know if this would work for me now or would I be changing it out later when I upgrade my clutch. I have had the m6 blues and now my clutch does not slip at all its just the pedal wont come up fast enough. I have a 2000 SS and wanted to know if just upgrading the slave would get me through. I just need the pedal to come up faster and thats it. So can someone list the parts I need and I will go ahead and order.

Teddy98Z28M6 = I'm also interested in installing the Z06 clutch for my mostly stock 99SS. Besides the clutch kit and slave, do I need to get the Master cylinder? Why?
