undecided between ls7 clutch or ram????
My car makes about 400rwhp....i dont do a lot of racing...i mainly just drive to work and back and i cruise it on weekends. I installed an ls7 clutch on a buddys car and it feels great. however, i have also heard a lot of good things about ram clutches...i cant make up my mind...what do you guys think?

ls7 would be sufficient for 400rwhp and if it is a DD you cant beat the pedal feel and longevity it will yield you in comparison to an after market clutch. Ran my LS7 clutch for 40 thousand miles just DD and Sometimes racing, I put down 411rwhp.

i have an ls6 z06 clutch in my car right now and its hung in there for over 25000 miles....so im sure the ls7 clutch would be even better...also another question...should i stick with the ls2 flywheel (thats included in the kit) or i should i run an aluminum flywheel? would it make a difference?

LS7 with ls2 flywheel all the way! I hate the chatter from the ram. I have 413whp and i have cut 1.6 60ft with my ls7 clutch and it has 25,000 miles on and still barks 4th gear. Nice smooth pedal and no charter just like stock.

As long as your are not running drag radials or slicks at the track you should be ok. I am replacing my ls7 this week end. It has maby 6000 miles and 6 passes at the track. It is slipping bad on hard launches and i am arount 435 rwhp......

Go with the LS7
I ran it when my CETA was a 6 spd and the car put down over 600 rwhp on spray. Never had a single problem at the track and DD the car
