well today i was attempting to take my flywheel off and get it balanced... well that didnt happen.
i managed to get all but 1 flywheel bolts loose... and it might have gone to the point of no return...
Its been completely rounded off, and i ended up buying an bolt extractor for a 1/2" so i could use my torque wrench... now its even more rounded off.
ive tried alot of stuff.. but this bolt is SCREWED UP. i have no idea what to do. can any one please help?
any suggestions? anything would be really appreciated!

drill a hole in the center of the bolt to use the extractor in.

my roomate has a drill, but theres no way it will be able to back out this bolt... ill post pics of the extractors and the head of the bolt after teriyaki

air hammer and a good bit but it has to be a good air hammer. hit it right in the center at the bottom then slowly walk it to the right and aim it to the right just as you would to loosen it works for me all the time.

Get some vise grips on it if you havent tried yet. If all attempts fail drill it so you can get the wheel off and then deal with the bolt, it will be easy to get the remains of the bolt out once the wheel is off.

what do i do with vise grips? that bolt is in there TIGHT...
also in wheel are you referring to the head of the bolt?

It looks like that may have been a 12 point socket that did that. Try a six point on it and see if that grips the bolt good enough to turn it. You may have to hammer it on there. Try using the next smaller size if that doesn't work, even if you have to go with an SAE. If you have a welder, weld a nut on it. Otherwise, do what Brad said...

nah, i was using a 6 point 15mm socket. I WISH i had a welder to weld a nut on to it.
I tried using a extractor i bought from sears but the thing was being a pain in the ***.

Those extractors work really good if its the one with the spiral sharp teeth. Pound that bitch on there with a hammer and it will hold.

If you can get good grip with the vise grips you then want to slip a large pipe over the vise grips to extend your leverage and power that you can apply to the bolt.

Wheel as in flywheel. If you can drill the head out and away from the rest of the bolt the flywheel will come off.

ah i see where you getting at, almost take out the head of the bolt so i can get the flywheel off, then deal with the bolt stuck inside the threads in the block...
makes sense with the vise grips, ill have to give that a shot tommorow.
How hard can i hammar a socket onto the bolt? i was scared of f*ing the flywheel up

You can hammer the **** out of it, you wont hurt the flywheel as long as you dont hit the flywheel directly.

just hammer a cheap 14 mm 12 point socket on it or whatever size will fit snug. spray it with some pb and take it off.
