Default Installing master

Regarding the actual install back into the firewall.

Does the line that runs down to the slave go under the steering linkage or over it?

Is it easier to slide the reservoir behind the brake booster before or after putting the master through the firewall?

Thanks

Mines under the steering linkage, and I found it easier to slide the reservoir up first then put the master cylinder through the firewall

Got it. I forgot just how much freaking fun putting the u-bolt in solo is. I had wrapped the clutch line in be-cool tape and it didn't want to maneuver very well behind the heat shield. After redoing that, I could not get the clutch pedal retaining clip back on (it's new) so I called it a night. Any tips on that?

Did you by any chance install a RAM adjustable master? The eye on the RAM that the pin slides through that the retaining clip attaches to is wide on the RAMs and needs to be trimmed down in order for the clip to properly attach.

Cool, I actually read about that from you in another post. I've decided to hold off installing the clip until I get the tranny in (next week) as I may have to make adjustments to the pedal engagement.
