man, that's bullshit. I went to their website, not too long ago, wondering if they made a shifter for fbodies. I didn't see anything, so I thought they neglected the car, since it wasn't in production anymore.

Now I searched shifters, after I bought a b&m, and I found this thread. It's still not on their website. I'm pissed.

But whatever. I got the b&m used for dirt cheap.

I've never driven one in an F-Body but I have in a couple Cobra's. I know the shifting sucks in Mustang's to begin with but I hated the MGW. My one friend switched to a Pro 5.0 and it's so much better.

Love that ****, but which thread does that match up with?

does the mgw have adjustable stops to keep you from going too deep when slamming into gears??? also, the same question for the 5.0... thank you.

The MGW does not have adjustable stops.

The B&M Ripper and Pro 5.0 do have stops on the shifters themselves.

One thing I love about the Pro5.0 in my Mustang is these adjustable stops.

Has anyone found it to be an issue with the MGW, the lack of adjustable stops?

It should be a non-issue as the T56 has internal stops. I have not had any issues with my MGW unless you consider short and precise shifts a problem.

T56 has no need for shifter adjustabe stops.

I have a much older T56 B&M ripper and it looks nothing like what is shown early in this thread. Mine looks much beefier and does not have that crooked stick. It has a straight stick just like the MGW shifter. Not sure when they made this change but the older one looks far superior to this newer one.

That's crazy, I ordered mine about a month ago and got it 4 days later. Put around 400 miles on mine and LOVE it. Just changed from stock and never had a short throw before so nothing to compare it to. But I'm so happy with it I couldn't even care how good others are. It's smooth IMO, never felt that it was "hard" to get it into gear, maybe slightly more than stock but not enough to bother me any little bit. It's a FANTASTIC shifter. You'll enjoy it
