Description:
This is my 1 of 157 Medium Gulf Blue Metallic ( MBM ) Trans am. I bought this car with 58,XXX miles on the odometer. The car currently has 75000 miles on the odometer.
The turbo kit was installed with about 62,XXX miles and run on the stock LS1 for awhile. That combo on 13# pump gas made 615 WHP on Pat G's Dyno w/ tune. The car was out of fuel w/ a 340 Stealth and 60# Injectors
I had the fully forged 383 ready to go whenever the stock Ls1 let go. A few thousand miles ( About 66,XXX on the odo ) and a ton of fun it finally cracked a ring due to fuel issues ( My fault )
After installing the new motor I took the car back to Pat G. After a few runs and tuning the car made 812/823 on 17 psi peak with 93 Pump gas with absolutely no knock or detonations. Pat G was very impressed to say the least.
If you know Pat G you know. He said that was about the limit of reliability with Pump Gas. ( This car doesnt have alky/meth/water injection ) The car has been on the same tune ever since as 800+ WHP is a TON of fun as it is.
This car could easily make way more with an E85 tune, I just do not have the time anymore to mess with the car as in the process I started a company and run it.
I take this car on weekend cruises 300-400 miles at a time and have absolutely zero issues. I have plenty of people who can vouch for the car in the Houston area.
The Paint on this car is a 9.8/10 it is immaculate for its age. I just had a full paint correcton done with Gtechniq ULTRA 10 year Ceramic Coating topped with EXO. The rims were also coated, along with the windows ect.
The interior is in near perfect shape besides the usual door cracks and dash issues. The headliner could also be redone eventually ( The car has a dash cover )
The T-Tops DO NOT leak unless you go through a ridiculously powered car wash, and then its very minimal drips. Would not reccomend w/ ceramic anyway.
The car is 100% garage kept under a Black Satan Strech Fitted Car cover. This car very very rarely sees rain if at all, Mostly a sunshine only nice day car.
The car weighs ~3600 LBS ( I had it on a scale ) 990/998 front sides and 780/820 ( Heavier on pass side due to battery relocate )
This car is TURN KEY buy and drive/cruise. It needs absoluetly NOTHING. This car was built as a street cruiser with AC and full interior. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the US tomorrow if I had to.
