I bought this car as the second owner back in 2003 with around 60k on the odometer. It was garage kept when I got it. It has been well cared for over the years. I always keep it clean and in the garage. It has not seen rain or water for several years. I probably should have vacuumed it before I took the pictures but was in a rush. It will need a new battery and I will get one if you plan on driving it home. It will start fine if I put my jump box on it. I moved about 9 years ago and seems I can't find the nitrous bottle. I will certainly include it if I find it. The nitrous setup on it currently has never got used. Before I had a smaller system on it. I do not need to sell this car but I never drive it so it may be time someone else can enjoy it. Below are the items I can remember over the years. Body damage (pic #29), various paint issues and imperfections, fender flared from improper jacking, etc. If that's mint condition, how would you would describe an actual really nice one that was competition worthy? 
Don't get me wrong, it's not junk, but it's certainly not mint.But I do agree; it's not 2022 anymore, prices have retreated a bit on pretty much all special interest cars. Having said that, I don't think the OP is TOO far off on his price. I'd probably ask a couple grand less to start, then be willing to negotiate down another grand or two depending on how much interest you get. Region can certainly play a role - some folks don't want to travel and getting a car shipped is costly (not to mention the risk of buying sight unseen).
