Description:

Currently on Ebay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/274028234389

I'm on the fence about selling but have been thinking about it for awhile. It would help my finances out to free up the cash.

I have owned it since October of 2012. I purchased it from the owner of a bodyshop who painted this car as his own personal project. The paint is a very nice Tuxedo Black that drops jaws everywhere. It was painted about 10-12 years ago and I polish it every other year. The car was originally a 327/250 HP Powerglide 10 bolt car. I still have the complete numbers matching drivetrain available if the buyer wants it.

Here is the full build thread that shows the trial and tribulations of building a fast, reliable street car in a 2 car garage. Blood, sweat, and tears (yes tears, we can discuss if you are interested) along with lots of dough were invested. There's hundreds of posts with pictures and videos.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...hp-17-psi.html

This car has been sorted over about 4,000 miles and runs great. Currently tuned on E85 to run up to 19psi. That produced 842 RWHP on a Dynojet. My wife loves to drive it and it's a pussycat off boost but when it comes in, you better be pointed in the right direction. My wife and 3 young boys love to cruise in it. The full size body style makes a big difference in interior comfort. I've had Chevelle's and they are actually pretty tight compared to this. I'm 6'2" and the 6 way power bench gets the seat perfect. The car has a lot of custom touches while keeping the Factory feel. It has some unique one off features like the intercooler housing using stock parts and the customer cup holder in the Strato-Bench armrest. The secret horn button 2-step and switchable boost activated exhaust cutout is fun too! Everything works except the ammeter in the dash, I have a gen light hooked up though in the factory spot. Even the key buzzer and lighter still work great.

U14 Factory Tach Dash with working temp, oil, tach, and speedo.

WOW! This might just be one of the Coolest looking modded Impala's that I've seen! When I first looked at your ad, I was stunned with how stock that she looked for having that much power! This is a Beautiful sleeper!

If we didn't already have a Nice Sunday/Sunny Day/Fun car, I'd think Very Seriously about yours because I like things that are different and that you don't see often and this Definitely fills the bill! You did a Beautiful job on the build and Good Luck with the sale!

Bump for you too!

Damn that is a nice machine. I'd be seriously considering buying it if I hadn't bought a 2015 F-250 Platinum from my step father last fall.

This is pretty amazing. I was thinking of getting into a 60s era vehicle of some kind and doing a turbo. This is already done... hmm.

Default Nooooooo!

super not cool man you probably can’t build the car for that. Sad to see this day. Followed and loved the build. Was hoping for updates.... but not a forsale update. Good luck with the sale. the car is worth it.

I wanted to add a few details.

-Has a JVC Bluetooth USB head unit in the glove box with handsfree phone connectivity. Super convenient and keeps you "hands free" legal.
-Comes with a BAFX Bluetooth OBD reader that I use with Torque Pro for digital dash and code reading.
-Jeep Grand Cheerokee power steering box for better on center feel and fast ratio.
-Hydroboost braking and power steering. Pedal had great feel and modulation with the 4 wheel Baer brakes. This car brakes surprisingly well and is by far the biggest safety feature of the car.

I've been following your build for a long time. It's the inspiration I've used to build my own 6.0 powered Impala, so I'm sad to see you sell it. But you can't always keep them all. Good luck with your sale! Someone will end up with an awesome car.

Thank man! I really don't want to part with it. I know I will be heartbroken but It's the right thing to do right now.

Fuses and ECM mounted in the fender for easy access. No big holes drilled through the firewall.
The 2 step is activated by flicking the switch and holding the horn button. Press horn, foot brake, release both at desired boost or RPM. At 6 PSI launch (3200 RPM) it netted 1.5 60' on 275 Pro's. It most certainly has a 1.4 in it.

this car is absolutely amazing. I'm not too much into older cars, but this is one I'd love to have. Unfortunately I cant afford something like this although I wish I could!'

What does it run at the track btw?

Thank you sir. It ran 11.40's on the 12 pound spring with street tires. The best slip it ran was below. Best MPH was 136 but did not 60' that run. I'm pretty sure it's got a 9.99 in it.
