How may of you guy are currently in a Workers union in the Midwest(Illinois specifically) , and how are they treating you?

i am an electrician.. local 134.. work is descent.. my company stays busy cuz we do cps/cha work.. $40 an hour on the check.. our package is worth $65 an hour

local 134, aka the contractors union, electrician. Been laid off the past two years around the same time. Going to work in local 176 at a nuclear plant for 4-6 weeks. Looking to get out of the union and do something else. Right now over 1000 guys on the 134 book.

local 150 just finished 2 months of 7 12's at the refinery not as much work as last year.

laborers local 81 here. Been employed at the whiting refinery for 3 years straight now with no layoff in sight

im on the list for 134......i dont know if how many guys they are taking this year so im kinda worried about getting in....the company im currently working for is getting real slow haha they are a 134 contractor.

local 52 tuckpointer 1st year apprentice only been in 6 months but ive been in 3 other unions and the only one that was ok was ironworkers 63 ornamental
