They are normally a little more relaxed with tech at the rentals. We have only had 1 or 2 cars told to only make half track runs cause they didn't have a cage and thats cause they were moving big time and they weren't even making full passes yet.

They are pretty lax on what I've seen in the past. it took a certain LT1 running low 10's no cage to get the talk lol.
I doubt they really worry about a crack if it is not huge & across the drivers view.

Everytime I'm there they ask for slicks do you have a loop look @ your helmet & then good to go.

I just ran a 10.85 last sunday and a 11.0 right after and they didn't say anything to me. That is without a rollbar or fire jacket. For safety I am going to be installing the roll bar this winter.

Blowdown tube? I'm finishing a nitrous install this weekend & I don't have one installed in my car. I've never had problems in the past @ Iowa tracks...

spend the $30 to get one, that's a safety issue.

I have one, just don't have it vented to the outside of the car.

even worse, but i'm sure that cold nitrous will feel great as your skin cracks, drill the 1" hole somewhere, install a grommet and be done with it.

OK, thanks, I'd hate for the nitrous to spray me from the spare tire well.

There are drain plugs in the T-Top area, use braided line and vent it there.

I don't have t-tops, but I'd think the drain is still there. I'll check it out. Thanks.
