Hey guys, I'm looking for a good body shop to fix my car. The hood got damaged and since SLP no longer sells these, I will need it to be repaired.

I'm just wondering if anyone can direct me to a shop they had a good experience with.

Here's a shot of the damage.

Front Drivers Fender: Cracked.
Front Bumper: Cracked, Scratched and Spider Cracked.
Hood: Cracked

No Idea if there is any internal damage.

You could fix it yourself and just have it painted somewhere to save money.

My buddies shop is in Schiller Park....

They do excellent work, but I'm not sure if you'd want to make the trek.

Bump @ Grind Autobody on W.159 in Homer glen. Talk to lee. You will not find a cleaner shop around.

I used to work at royal coach and i have had work done at carriage house. both are excellent.

and area one motorsports is right next door to carriage house. :-)

Mystic Auto in Joliet(On the border of Joliet/New Lenox off of Cherry Hill and Laraway). Killer work. He does everything from collision repair like you have to custom work on 100k+ Mercedes, Ranges, etc.

The Bump and Grind auto body definitely hooked up my ex gf with her front bumper a few years ago...we brought them a new bumper, and they painted it, it looked great...btw...the bumper was gold metallic, which in some cases it is hard to paint.

i work at fullers auto body in lyons, we are service first for state farm, and do all other insurance companies as well, we also do custom work, i suggest going through the insurance, i say that becasue paying out of your pocket can get expensive

there is always more damage when we tear a car down

the "dent pros" in naperville, the owners name is jack and he paints all the cars himself. He has fixed a couple things on my car as well as fixed stuff another body shop f-ed up (not mentioning any names cause they check the forum) however you can pm me and ill tell you who NOT to go to. However jack has done awesome work and gives you a good price. the side of my car got messed up after a lady dragged a shopping cart past it, he painted the front bumper, hood, fender, door, quarter, rear hatch, and fixed the rear bumper which another shop messed up for $900. check him out, highly recommended.
