February 16th, today, is the day that starts it all!!!!!! im really excited to see this on the streets next to the mustang and challenger!!!

 

when is it supposed to hit showroom floors?

 

actually production has been moving on slowly since the end of last month. despite what you hear on the news! there have been 210 production cars built so far . i would expect to see the cars start trickling down in a few weeks to dealer lots and whatnot. reminds me of the challenger. i kept hearing production would kick off by june. but i started seeing those cars on dealer lots back in march. and people paying ignorant amounts of money to be the first to have one. ill be waiting a few months to see what the next years revisions will be on this new Z-body camaro!

The guy at the autoshow who was talking about the camaro up on stage said March 16th.... He might know something....

 

yeah you can buy a bare prototype body already for MSRP 7000. just all body panels and glass i think. my dad was going to get one for his 540 dart motor.

 

Your right, it was moved back a month to comply with some quality standards or something.
