Hey guys,
I haven't been on here too much lately as the schoolwork seems to be steadily increasing. This past weekend I drove the bird home for Easter and it came ill with a case of bad gas I believe. I filled up at the BP by McDonalds on Northwestern before heading to Indy and the next day as it got to the new gas its just backfiring like crazy under any load with acceleration. So the bird is out of commission for the time being and I grabbed the IROC from mid body-work and car cover. Weather and schoolwork permitting I will try to be showing up with the IROC.

as much as I would like to it would cost me about $100 in gas and 10 hours in order to drive up there to get it, bring it back, take it back, and then come back down and I don't have the cash or time to spare. Plus like I said I'd have to find somewhere to park it while for a night or two. I think I'm just going to take shotgun in Kyles car and maybe someone elses if the opportunity arises.

Its getting close. When I went to the dyno a few weeks ago, my car was running dangerously lean. I thought I would be able to get it tuned before this, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. Therefore, I will have to keep it under 3000rpms because it leans out really bad after that. I am going to be a slow poke, so it might be a good idea for me to be towards the back.

Chris! Glad you finally got on here! I was looking for you car on campus, but couldn't find it. Hope you can make it with your Iroc.
Jared-
Its cool. I'm from Elkhart, so I know how bad that drive sucks...especially 3 times in a weekend. Glad you can make it, regardless.

my name on here is actually 72firebird since I joined here before I got my car.
But as Kyle said I'll be coming along with my camera and hope to get some good pictures. I wish I could bring my car down but it's about 150 miles away and I don't have a garage to put it in down here.

ahhh, I was mistaken.
Jared, you think you can post up a lower res uncropped shot on top of the garage to show them what you were thinking for a big group pic?
I am really looking forward to this cruise. I hope it doesn't rain cause it is supposed to be 70 and I am down for some t-tops off cruising!
yeah, it is a sick ride, you are missing out if you haven't gotten a chance to see it. That 3.8 Turbo is a slick motor!
All that GNX power and turbo fun with the great looks of a clean TA!

both of those were using my zoom lens though so if we have more cars up there it'd be easy to zoom out some more to get all the cars together.

There are no speed bumps in the garage. There's only one area on campus that has speed bumps that I can think of and that's on University like right through one of the main parts of campus.
As for fitting all the cars in the area of the first shot, I don't think that'd work there's a street not far in front of the car and it's not a very big area.
I'll try to take a drive around campus and maybe find one other location. If other people want to set up to do a photoshoot sometime send me a PM and we might be able to work something out, but time is short before school is out.

there are speed bumps in the garages almost like an expansion joint between the concrete and its raised up. and it depends on the car. I have a chassis mounted crossmember w/ the bmr weld in crossmember and my car may be lowered when I bought it but if it is its not much and I cannot make it over the speed bumps without my crossmember hitting really hard. At least that's what happens in the Grant St parking garage.
