every year I have been organizing a group ranging from 12 to 60+ F-bodys, corvettes, GTO's and everything LSX (mustang can be included), that caravan/cruise together as a Hooters cruise to Speeds open house.

after the open house, we go back to Hooters in schaumburg to bs about cars, drink and eat.

here is the info (meet at either hooters)

then off to Speed Inc:

After speed inc, back to Hooters in Schaumburg...(eating, drinking, pics, talk cars, girls and pick on imports)

The groups usually chills at each hooters in the morning for about 15mins before leaving to the next hooters or speed.

Also on the way to Speed, we will take Meacham to Elgin Ohare Expressway to let the cars breathe a bit..

 

i'll try to meet up with you guys at the schaumberg hooters to cruise into speed. last year was a blast cruising with a group of about 10 fbodies up to the hooters and meeting up with like 25+ more and cruising into speed as a group. its too bad my trans is slipping so i'm not gonna be able to take it too hard on the car.

 

I'll meet up at Hooters in Schaumburg also...Never been to Speed, inc, I have only had my car for a year now...

hey amitch, your not going to drive an hour south to drive 2 hours north this year? lol. Dont know if you remember me but we met you up at the gas station in frankfort. I have a red z28. We'll be crusing up there this year but Im thinking we need to start a thread for the hill-billy southerners... , Matt D isnt speaking up this year, wonderin if he will be leadin the cruise this year on the new bike?

 

Is there also going to be a north meets south like years past? lets also mention that we all have nice fast cars so lets not bring to much atention to us with the police. I am shure we will be seeing them later in the day .

 

lol, not this year. if my trans wasn't acting up i would do it again though. i do remember you, nice looking car. i only really get to cruise with a group that big once a year so the time spent driving out there was worth it.

 

yea it was pretty cool when we got on 355 and you could see like 40 camaro's/firebirds all driving in a row. too bad your trans is going out. Maybe I'll see you at the open house.

maybe i'll run into you guys on 355 for the cruise up there. i'll be jumping on at either 63rd or boughton. what time you guys think you'll be in the area?

 

so far there will be around 7 to 12 car at crystal lake hooters.

 

We need a SS cruise again. Then meet up with you guys at the hooters in schaumburg like last year.

Driving to the north side? Solo? Oh No.

We need a caravan of cars from the south. That was the funnest part.(leaving from the Steak n Shake) Tollbooth Takeoff's etc. etc.

 

we got two fast cars to start it up with at least...
