True we have slow speed limits and the front plate law sucks been pulled over for it many of times....

Some of the cops will have this light gun and some will just write you a ticket if they "think" it's too dark. Then you have to go to the DMV or something and get it tested to get out of the ticket. That's how it was in MD anyways.

The window tint bill has not been signed as far as I know. It passed the house and senate I belive and is waiting get the veto or signed into law.

Since we are on tints. Does anyone have their tail lights tinted and get any flack from the local.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think its not having them tinted is the problem, but they have to be clearly visible at a certain distance during the day/night.

I honestly dislike IL in most ways. I am not opposed to moving in the future. But my problem with IN is the excessive snow near the lake. Maybe central IN would be a good choice?

Does KY have front plates?

I have to do something to the boring backside of the cobalt.
But it is a daily and I am a regional mgr so lots of road time puts me out there more often.

I want windo and tail tints damn it

The cops in Iowa have this two peice scanner crap that they put on each side of the window to tell what percent it is..... The cops love giving the car people crap here, but don't do a thing to the drug dealer on the corner and then wonder why Iowa has such a high count of meth addicts

Its definitely not passed cuz I have 35% and got a ticket for them yesterday.... after being speed trapped doing 89 in a 55.... ****.

and it sucks.... I live in IL, never had a tint ticket for two years on my trailblazer, then one IA cop pulls me over and gives me a tint ticket when i was on a roadtrip to vegas. The dude was a dick about it too.

Ouch..prob get you for reckless driving too. Hit me with it in high school..88 in a 55. I should have told them i was trying to go back in time
