Default Window motor is going out...

Anyone know where I can get it fixed? Thanks for the help.

Hey Chris. It's really bad...I've stopped rolling down the window. Btw, I think riding in the GTO with Sean may have inspired me to get a cam lol.

Good luck! That **** was a ******* bitch to fix. I brought it to a guy out here that fab'd up a metal plate for me so the new motor would stay in there. The ******** that had the car before me, chewed up all the holes in the door and fucked it all up. Still doesn't sit 100% perfect, but it's an *** load better. Let me know if you want his info.

Ya..My Windows are also seeming to act up. They will go slow sometimes going back up, but then other times they will go up rather quick. Its really weird.

my passenger window is slow as **** now. I have a feeling thats its going to crap out on me soon. I just hope it doesn't do it when the window is down and wont go back up.

you should try the auto trix kit for the passenger side...it fixed mine just fine...

That worked like a charm for me. This should be the first thing you try before replacing the motor. Also, if you do end up replacing it, that kit will make the motor last longer.

No problem. Yesterday I got bored and did it myself using those directions. It was a PITA, but it wasn't too bad. I ended up going with an Autozone window motor, which was only like $55 + tax (including the lifetime warranty).
