Winter storage, New Lenox/Frankfort area
.
Every winter guys ask to store their cars at my shop.
Heated, monitored alarm, neighbors business open 7 days a week.
Plenty of traffic all winter. We watch out for each other if anyone is away.
Well this year, I sold my trailer and a couple of trucks, so I have some room.
If there is any interest, and if I get off my butt and get organized.
I might have between 6-9 spots for the right guys.
Not sure yet, but on a case by case basis, I might try it this winter if there's the need for some nice cars.
Plus the frigging gas bill is getting bigger & bigger every damn winter.
Any interest, my email is listed on my web site link below.
The place is very safe & secure. I keep both Camaro's, Firebird, Pro-Mod, trucks and my business equipment inside.
I usually work 5-6 days a week.

Where exactly is your shop? My mom lives over there in unincorporated Tinley so it's not that far from the Frankfort area. Shoot me a PM with a price and everything if you decide to get organized.

No problem. Like I said, I always said no in the past. With heat prices and being bored out of my mind.
Now that we're not moving to GA. like my wife kept bugging me to do??
I'll be around the shop all winter anyway, I'm thinking I may do it.
To help some guys out and help me get the heat, electric and alarm billed paid for.
Will figure out pricing and decide if I'm doing it for sure in the next day or two.
The shop is 9 miles east of the drag strip. Will give exact address individually if I decide to do it.

Alright man just keep me posted. I gotta see if I'm going to be getting a truck for the winter or not. If so I'll definitely need a spot to put my car. The nicer the place; the better for me. Keep me updated if you go ahead and do it or not.

The shop is 9 miles east of the drag strip. I'm a little off the main road and at the end of a dead end street.
Very close to the new mini mall, if you've been down Laraway lately.
I'm asking $40 for bikes and $100 for F-body and mustang sized cars.
That includes heat, alarm and me checking on the shop 5-6 days a week. I'm retired, so I'm there all day usually.
No major work allowed, but when I'm there, you are welcome to hang around or check on your toy.
I just don't want people pissed off if they expect to come drive it all the time.
Anyone that has work scheduled, I will make sure you get your car.
I know how hard it is to get into a good shop when you need something done.
If I run to the dells or ?? for a few days, I don't want any problems.
I don't know how these new cars are. If you can't pull the battery, I have a couple of the little mini chargers.
I can plug in the car once a week when I'm there, if that helps save the tune up or programing??
My thinking is that guys will want to store the car for ~4 months. I'm asking for 2 months cash in advance,
we know it will stay at least that long, and 2nd payment before the 3rd month starts.
Some guys just want to pay in full, so they don't have to worry about it.
That's fine also. I'm just trying to help some guys out and help pay the utility bills.
Anything I'm missing, ask away. I've never done this before, so I'm sure I'm forgetting some things.
Thanks again,
JBL (John)
I also have a bunch of old 2 X 12 steps I use to keep the tires off the cement on my stuff, you are welcome to use them.
