Awesome to see it in writing like that. Can't believe IL actually changed it! Now they need to get on the front plate law.

So who's the best tint shop in the city?

Torch'd referred me to a shop for: $200 for 5% for The football Field Window and Two Sides.

Anybody out there that can beat that?

Midco tinting on cicero and 87th is the only place I let tint my windows. The guy is great and will beat anyones prices, plus he loves what he does so he does a great job and would recommend his work to anyone.

Cool. If he can beat out Torch'd guys I'll take it to him Saturday. I want to get my front window tinted too. All these headlights nowadays are very bright and the glare is killing me.

Tinting the front window is probably the best appearance choice I've made for the car. It really gives it a mysterious and sleek look. It's the reason why cars look hot in the commercials!

I'm sure he can beat him out, I had my windows tinted by midwest the first time and then took it to midco and he laughed when I told him that I paid $225.

Damn, that windshield tint makes your TA look so much sexier. But guys don't get carried away, if you go deeper than 35% in the back the law calls for no tint on the sides.. And definitely a no no on the front. That is at your own risk.

Man, have you seen these headlights people are putting on their cars?

I get blinded every time I glance in my rear view mirror, side mirrors, and god help me if i glance over the median into oncoming traffic.

Also, have you not seen the horror stories of the dash cracking into 4-5 pieces? I'm certainly not trying to have that happen. Besides, the streets here are so congested that a cop would have to bust a U-ey to come around and catch me for front tint.

By then, I'd be 6 blocks away.

So I'm wanting to get my tint all re-done and I have a few defrosters that don't work. I think like 3 or 4 of them don't work. Am I going to need a new hatch or what? How would I go about replacing them? Not too sure because I've never dealt with them before.

hahaha...my windows have been tinted since the day it rolled off the showoom floor....but I bought the car in Dallas, Tx. All of my cars have been tinted now for 3+ years of being up here. I was NOT going to peel the tint off. I'm glad I don't have to worry about it now.

Have you ever been pulled over?? I figure you'd be a sore thumb with front tint?

Can someone please clarify what tint you can and can't get? I'm about to get all of my windows tinted, I would appreciate if someone would explain it to me.

I want darkest on all windows but the windshield doesn't matter too much.
