Some help with E-check?---Northern Ohio Guys Come In!
Has anyone here passed e-check with no cats? I know it will pass when they check codes and stuff but obviously i'm worried about the visual inspection. Maybe someone here has a trick up their sleeve or knows somebody that might be able to help? My daily driver is out of commission for the time being, and i only have 19 days until my tags expire. Any help would be great thanks!

The last time I had my car e-checked, they only tested the cap. I don't know if that was it, but that's what I saw. I am thinking about getting collector plates for mine. I won't have to deal with that crap anymore!

They are really bad in Twinsburg ... they wanted me to prove that my high flow cats from Kooks were legal and wouldn't even test me. I took it to Valley View and they passed me just fine ... but they also checked for cats. I also just applied for collectors plates to get exempt from e-check.

Get collector plates. I have them on my 98 T/A and 87 Grand National. You do have to list your daily driver plate on the application and it only can be mailed to Columbus BMV. Unless they changed it, you cannot just go to your local registar to renew these.
