US 41 Sold!
If it's sold, then just make the announcement and move on to fixing all the problems.
All the insinuating who owns it is silly. Unless you're trying to make excuses,
just say who the owner is.
You have a bunch of people claiming they know what's going on,
but the guy who supposedly actually knows,
won't announce why the name changed, and if it was sold??
What's the big secret?? Everyone knows who owns 66, Byron, Cordova, Grove ect.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
it may not be the nicest track around but it is a good time. i have never had a problem there. if you cant hook, maybe you need more suspension. i have personally gone low 1.2 60's in a stock suspension 10" tire car. i know many people cutting 1.1x 60's consistently and they are stock suspension small tire cars.
The track will work, the one problem with the track is consistency.
I've was there and pulled some 1.15 60' testing N/A, and would have sprayed but had car issues.
Then we were there and couldn't even get off the line N/A so didn't even try to spray.
There were 4-5 of us with 6-7 second cars, and none of us were able to make a pass that day.
No one is saying the track never works.
They have a lot of issues, and when they all add up, people think the place is a dump. Especially 6-7 second guys will not put up with that kind of crap.
That collapsed pipe in staging has been there since '04-06?? can't remember for sure.
We can't just drive over it like a standard bracket car/street car.
Trust me I tried and have the bill when it ripped the carbon fiber chunk out of my nose,
because we didn't know it was there 1st time out with the new nose.
The rocks everywhere is asinine. There should be zero rocks at a dragstrip for any reason.
I have carbon fiber tubs, and I really don't like rocks.
They spend all that money to move all the telephone poles, and they don't put lights at the big end???
Who's decision was that?? Anyone that misses that on a track that races 3 nights a week is not very bright if you ask me??
The place could be awesome. I still say it's a shame one of the big money guys didn't get the track years ago.
The place would be a national event quality track, with out all the BS you deal with at RT 66.
For whatever reason, they just won't take the offers??
If I get all my family problems settled, I'll be there, with or without one of my cars.
It's still a great place to hang with your buddies.
