Default anyone near chicago who knows about t56's

i had a shop (who is to remain nameless) none of the sponsors on here go through my t56 to make sure everything was ok so i could trade it for a th400. turns out they put the trans together when it was in gear. if anyone can help me with this let me know. i have the manual for it and all the tools for it but im very wearing of tearing into this myself.

I'd recommend just opening up the case yourself. MT's are much simpler and way less intimidating than autos, and if you **** your pants after opening it up, just seal and bolt it back down. The money you save can be put toward a nice clutch

<--- have an opened tranny in the garage waiting on new shift change assembly while I measure basic clearances and clean the hell out of it

I forgot to mention, MPH Motorsports in Skokie, IL is rebuilding my buddy's T56 (LS2 in a Nissan 240sx). I'm sure they could do the work for you if you're local to Chicago.
