Looking for some help in Chicago area
Looking for some help in Chicago area Hey Chicagoland members I am looking for some help with my car...since moving here I live in an apartment and no longer have access to much for tools.
I need to put in some solid motor mounts in order to clear my LPP, shitty fitting, headers and dont really have the tools/place to do it. I do have some Spohn mounts though ready to go.
Is there anyone who would be able to help me out with them? I will drive to you and bring beer
I would really appreciate the help as the summer will be winding down before we know it.
All we would really need would be a floor jack and an extra set of jack stands, and if possible a engine hoist but I can rent that if need be.

Anyways I can work on it pretty much anyday. it was more dependant on the person who I could get to help me.
if you dont have them done by the time i get this camaro out of my garage, you are more than welcome to get it done in my garage. i have a hoist, jacks, stands, etc. i will let you know as soon as i am done. i am going to try to get the motor out tonight, if there is no major damage, i just have to put new bearings in it and throw it back in. hopefully be done this weekend.

After crawling underneath my car today...it looks like the headers would have to come off or at least be loosened up to get to the bolts on the pedestals for the mounts.
