Curiosity...Gas Mileage in your ride?
I have a 2002 Camaro SS A4. I have done a few mods to it since purchased in 2002.
Stock the car got Hwy 24-26.7 MPG 3.23 gears...city 18 MPG
H/C/I/stall 3600 390rwhp the car got Hwy 23-24 MPG 3.23 gears; surprising...city 16 MPG
408ci 500rwhp with 3.42 Moser rear/3600 stall/built trans Hwy 20-22.6 MPG...very surprising...city 10-11 MPG
These were calculated hwy/city drives of more than one tank of gas.
What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting? Do you know your stock vs modified mileage? A4s vs manuals? I would prefer calculated mileage not what your electronic sensor is telling you (corvettes). I know the one in my wife's car is usually off 2-3 MPG when calculated.
I am not concerned about my gas mileage but this is more curiosity than anything...who knows one day it could be a study...

stock 98Z A4 3.23s'-24.5 mpg based on 6 trips from Cleveland to Orlando at freeway legal speeds;same but with 4.56s'-21.5 mpg for 3 trips of the same.
city mpg is too 'right foot dependent' and you can't have fun if you're city driving for mpgs'.

My '98 SS A4 (mods in sig) w/ 3.23's averages around 20 combined. Best I ever got was 23 and that was pretty much highway, except for like 5 miles getting from my house to the highway. Not sure what it averages 'just around town'. I've never only driven it just around town so I can't speculate on that. It'll probably be getting worse now though since it's not my daily anymore and we all know what that means...

I hardly ever drive on the highway but I get 15mpg in the city with my mods. When the car was stock I got the same mileage so I can't complain. Many G8 GT owners get 25+ mpg on the highway, so the 6-speed auto and DOD make a big difference.

Mine is always mixed driving right around 22 mpg. I am a full bolt on car. Seems like whether I drive like Grandma or like I stole it the mileage never changes. Always filling up right after 285 miles on the tank.

When i just had boltons my car was 15-20 city, 25-28 highway. After the cam it's avg is about 18 city and 30.5 highway! I love having the 6 speed! Moser 9' 3.90's built T56, boltons and cam!

2000 Z28 M6, LS6 intake, lid, dumped one chamber; basically stock in other words. 110K miles and still on stock plugs and fuel filter so it might have done a little better if I would replace them
Drove from Pigeon Forge, TN to Ohio and got 29.5 mpg, driving between 70-75 mph the entire way
It usually get between 18-20 in the city

Just got the car a few days ago and have only ran a tank of gas (mostly play, new car fun ) through it. 26.5, right around 370 miles before the gas light came on. LOTS of playing on that tank of gas. 2002 M6 Firebird.
