Ok I'm not one to bad mouth a shop but Damn! This is some Bullshit. My car has been at American Muscle Cars for four months and they still aren't done. I had them install new headers, intake, Tb, maf, cut out, stand alone, and dyno tune. It's already paid for and I missed the entire summer. WTF!

Jesus you let them get away with it for that long? If they had it for more than a week I would have went and got it and my money back. Have you seen the car since you brought it there? I don't know how you could leave the car there for four months (for a one day job too) without doing something about it. I would go get it ASAP and sue for your money back if they don't give it to you.

At the very least you should go there to make sure any works even been done to it and their not just stringing you along with the dyno line, and with service like that you should double check everything to make sure they didn't **** anything up as well.

thats not cool man. show up there and check out your car, i can bet you that no work has been done and that they are pushing your job aside for higher paying work.
It was a no-no to pay ahead of time, 50% up front I believe is customary not 100%

there a place i know of that has some bad **** come through and they build up but have swapped out the go fast parts with stock ones and take a long *** time to do ****. if i was you i would go to them look the car over top to bottom and see if they have even done anything to it yet and to see if your parts are on what they should be.

Well I went and picked up the car last week and had it towed to Straighline. They reviewed the work American Muscle Cars (In Palatine) did and said they installed my stand alone wrong and I'm missing some parts. I called the other shop and they are playing dumb now. Somebody hold this $100 bail money for me cause I'm bout to go back there and act a ******* fool.

I really hate to hear stuff like this, your probably screwed unless you know where they (owners, workers, etc.,) hang or keep their cars and beyond that I would not post thoughts of what may happen to low life scum like them. Sorry to hear stuff like this. File with the BBB (might not help you but may warn others). If you get my drift don't threaten here or any public arena. KARMA is a bitch regardless of religious thoughts.

did you pay by credit card? if so call your credit card company and explain the situation. Most CC company's will challenge the validity of any charge if you have been wronged by a company for non performance.
