MFBA cordova track rental, may 7th 2011 The midwest f-body association has rented cordova dragway in cordova, IL again for this springs event on may 7th, 2011 from 9-2pm.
Our cost is $35 a car + 1 driver, $5 per spectator, and kids under 10 are free.
This is a great low key family style event, we all relax, shoot the breeze and get into some great racing. I'll be there to sign autographs as well
this is open to all makes and all models.....

please include your name and screen name in the description so we know who pays us. We are on their track schedule as well, since we've had some people in the past wanting to make sure this is a legit thing I guess.
So come see some great f-bodies and bring your non-GM cars if looking for a little rivalry.

Yeah I'd love to go to an f-body event but that is about 4 hours from me, wouldn't be worth it unless there was a ton of other cars there like 350+. My truck loves the gas when towing my precious cargo.

well we can rent a closer track but it would be around $125 a car minimum to host the event...so it's pay for the gas and race at a nicer facility or race local and need several thousand pre-paid before even trying to go forward with it.

they may or may not mention it, depends on what it runs I suppose. You can always install the handle style cut off switch and remove the long bar when not in use and you wouldn't see the small hole under the taillight at all for street cruising.

we run a caravan of cars down i-80. Bunch of us leave from i-80 and harlem and continue to pick up cars along the way by them waiting on the side of the on-ramps until we pass them and then they catch up. Usually 15 or so cars by the time we're done.

The replacement head is supposed to be at my house by the end of the day and I plan on working all day to finish up everything else that needs completion.
