Luckily, I got it squared away last night. Taking it on a cruise tonight to shake it out before Automotion. See you there 
As GBCamaro said above, a bunch of LSx (and maybe some turbo buick guys) are meeting up at the Trojan Horse near Big Chief Go-Karts at 7pm on Saturday.
I definitely would like to go check out the burnouts too...hell, if you wait around long enough on the strip, you usually get a pretty good show.
Definitely swing by. I think most of us here appreciate a fast car, regardless of what it is.

I have been going there for about 12 years now...and I was there when the riot on the strip occured. That was amazing. They closed the parkway...called in the state police because it was so out of control.
Granted it has been a lot more calm since then (aggressive police presence) but we still saw a bunch of burnouts on the strip by the horse last year. It's not totally dead, but definitely not as fun as when you could drink beer on the sidewalk and have a good time.

anything going on Friday night? I think I'm leaving around noonish saturday(could change though). I'm staying at fields park motel, which i think is close to the dt area.

I'm with these guys ^^. I am driving the 500+ mile round trip...rain or shine, on drag radials, with no wipers or stereo

We are going rain or shine Fri. evening. I still have hopes that the rain will hold off until after we leave. Hell, yesturday they called for rain throughout the day today, and here in GB its clear blue skies and not a cloud in site. I don't trust a thing meteorologists say until the day of.

is anyone heading there saturday morning from the la crosse area? ill be in my black ss.
i drove from kenosha to la crosse today but i got pulled over by a trooper in jefferson county, that F**KING F*CK! He gave me $150 ticket for no front license plate and a $150 ticket for side window tint. Then a warning for rear window tint and a warning for a "smoked" cover over my rear plate..fml.
