I had to jump in on this one, the ONLY thing better about LS2 Manifold is the 90mm Throttle Body opening when compared to the LS6; talk to any of the head porters or parts slingers and they will agree.

Can anyone refer me to a good transmission rebuilder? I drive 00' Z28 automatic and when I bought it I was told it had a shiftkit and its built blah blah. I think its just a stocker crapping out. Anyways 1&2 gear it won't shift out of unless I gas it hard, let off, and get on it again. I dont wanna have to mess with more transmission problems down the road from someone not doing it correctly. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I have always had good luck with Triple H Transmissions. But like I said it sounds like the converter to me.

Started my ol' bitch this weekend. Didn't drive it anywhere but started it at least, LOL. I had almost forgot about the damn pulley squeal it started doing before I parked it. I'll just add replacing all those to my list of "to-do" for it, LOL.

I'm hoping here sometime soon to get my Ebony dash & dash pad swapped in along with the Ebony a-pillars & new Phantom tach. Also gotta finish wrapping the extra set of door panels in leather as well. I got one of them done, just need to drag it outta the closet & toss it in the car for a couple weeks to make sure the glue I used will hold up to middle summer temps in the car with the windows rolled up. If it holds I'll finish the project.

I say go to Wayne at OK Transmissions. He offers lifetime warranty. Considering how we use our cars he may not give you the lifetime but he can build it stout for sure. He may not remember my name (Lucas) but I guarantee he will remember the black Trans Am that he built the 4L60E for. Tell him you want one that tough or tougher. He'll take great care of you.

Thought id post this here first before i make a for sale ad. I have a T56 out of an 01 SS, has about 30k on it, comes with a pro 5.0 shifter. I want 1200 for it if its a local pickup. Ill also deliver it up to 2 hours away if someone pays for my gas. I can message/email pics to anyone who is interested. Ill also consider a trade for a built TH350. Im in Lawton, Ok.

Ok guys, I have been having a hell of a time with the Camaro... I felt like the stock ls1 was on its last leg and swapped in a 5.3 with plans of a turbo in the future. So after the swap and working out a few stupid things I had it running. about 20 mins later it died on the highway, I took it home checked the codes and it was my alternator L terminal. fixed that because a wire came loose but still wouldn't start. So I it to a shop he said he jiggled some wires and charged the battery and then it started. So hell yea right... well last night 2 days after I got it back it died again. checked the codes and it was my O2's, knock sensors, and my crank position sensor. I replaced the crank sensor and now I have no fuel, and my alternator L terminal code but no O2's or knock sensors. Any ideas???
