I have a Moser 9", looking to get the rear narrowed 1-3". Anyone have any recommendations on shops or people?

I've found a few chassis shops in Chicagoland but have no first have knowledge, experience, or reviews on who to go with.

Even if you've got "a guy" who does this type of thing on the side I'd check them out too. Thanks.

I might just do that. Straightline installed the 9" for me in 2011.

As a follow up: If cut 1" per side, can you guys (1) shorten and respline the Moser axles; (2) will there be enough meat left on the splines to reuse w/o resplining; (3) or do I have to order new axles?

I may have read that Moser axles can only be shortened/resplined if taking off more than 3"/side.

Thats what we will have to look at when it comes apart. If the splines have enough engagement then we will leave it. If not we will send them to get resplined. Most of the time you don't have to buy new axles.
