Annual Mustang/F-Body Meet in KC, MO on September 21st, 2013
On September 21st, 2013 there is going to be the annual Mustang/F-Body meet/car show. The address the meet/car show is going to be held at is 5005 NE Antioch, Kansas City, MO 64119. The meet/car show starts at Noon and ends at 4:00 p.m. After the meet/car show, it's off to US36 Raceway in Osborn, MO for some drag racing. The gates open at 7:00 p.m. and racing begins at 8:00 p.m. and continues until Midnight. I think there is going to be cruise after the drag racing, but not 100% sure on that.
Who all is going? I'll be there.

gates open at 4 to the event. burnout contest at 6pm and then the racing will begin after the burnout contest. also there is a $100 buy in race that has a minimum payout of $1000 to the winner. To enter in the race you have to have it paid for before the end of the car show portion because all cars entered are required to make the cruise from the show to the track. There is also a portion for bikes $50 entry, $750 for first, $250 for second, $50 for third. Rules for both events are make the cruise, don't redlight, don't cross the center line and its heads up.

Track owner agreed to leave gates open and lights on all night so we will have a place to meet up and hang out all night. Racing ON the track will stop at midnight. Last year our highway fun lasted until 630am, I see no difference this year, this is truly one meet not to miss!

Less than a week away, if you guys will be needing e85 at the track just let me know, email me at mustangfbodykc@gmail.com so we can plan ahead on how much e85 to bring.

Yeap!
Last year's event was 2 miles from my house and man what a turn out. I plan on going again this year and bringing the Hawk for the car show, but probably won't be driving it to the racing or cruise.

Thanks all who helped us make this event happen!
200+ cars racing, 1200+ spectators, $7500+ in prizes/money. For the 1st year doing the meet at the track I was pretty happy with it! Track crew did an AMAZING job, kept cars running all night, no down time, everyone got in plenty of passes! Paid over $2000 for 1st place in the heads up class. Burnout contest was GREAT also, those guys who entered really put on a show!
