Default Minnesota - mechanic or garage recommendation near Twin Cities?

Just picked up a 2002 Z28 with ~18K miles. Would like an experienced F-Body mechanic or shop to look it over. Need basic work like all fluids changed, accessories belt looked at, etc. I suspect there may be some beneficial suspension work at this point as well. Any recommendations? Can be an actual shop or individual whose known in the community.

Thank you!

Lancer Auto Service in St. Paul is run by Carl Thomas who also is one of the best LS tuners in the state and really knowledgable with the f-body platform.

Makes sense!

I used to work in St. Paul and saw F-Bodies there all the time, it just didn't click.

Thank you!

Another vote for Carl at Lancer. He does my tuning and is way easy to deal with.

On another note, 98CayenneT/A, do you recommend any machines shops in the Twin Cities? I need to get a pair of assembled 243s checkout out. They have the dual .660 TSP spring package and the seller said they have only 1000 miles on them. I want to see if anyone can test these out fully, preferably without being dishonest about the true state of the heads. They appear to be in excellent shape and certainly look like they only have 1000 miles since refresh/spring package added to them, but I don't want to just take the seller's word and bolt them up without knowing for sure.

The only place I know of is Wheeler race engines in Blaine.
I have not done business with them but have been in there a few times with a buddy.

Thanks. I've read good things about them as well.

Good to hear! I reached out to him earlier this week, hoping to hear back soon.

May run into you on the streets this summer as well. I'm nearby!
