I rode in it a while ago... Still thinking the river is the best place for that trans. Car is a beast but is being held back by the 4l60... Th400 ftw!

 

That made me chuckle. I feel your pain.

I did find out what's wrong with my car. Wrong install height, wrong retainers, wrong seat locators and not enough retainer to seal clearance.

Once again it proves I can't trust anyone to work on my **** except me.

However I do have a set of titanium retainers for 1.30 OD spring if someone needs them.

 

I "hate" my transmission. Most unreliable junk **** ever.

 

My window visor randomly fell out today. Wtf?

 

Lmao so has mine!! So I just took the other one out. Much cleaner look if ya ask me.

 

It didn't help that I drove in the sunlight's path today without one lol

Anyone know of any reputable transmission rebuilders around here? Might have to have my t56 rebuilt. I would buy the parts of course.

 

I took mine to Do It Right Transmissions which they ship it to a shop in Louisville. $1800 was the total. Many places don't touch manuals. Other than that, Tick Performance would be a good place to ship it to.

Mike has a built one laying around, unless he sold it or whatnot.
