Autocroos this Sunday, the 15th, at Whiteside County Airport, right off I-88 south of Rock Falls. Registration closes at 10:15 and there's a special rate for first timers.

Yeah, i've been taking pictures before and after for a while now. I've been going to Lindquist but after this i'm done. I wouldn't take it to any dealerships if i had the money to fix everything myself. But hey got to use what's left of the warranty any time i can!! Money is starting to get real scarce. Oh well i will make damn sure they take care of it now, there are so many scrathes i am close to the point of saying i want the whole thing redone and won't settle for anything less. It would be nice to have the front bumper redone.

Damn 15lbs that's insane! I bet you can feel the difference, it's gotta be fun. I'd say even just 10lbs on and it would still pull harder.

Affirmative. He must have been trying to look cool with a couple of his buddies there. (Not mustang guys I assume since his was the only one there) Sounds like you need to get some new times for your stang.

Sweet! Nice 60', those mickeys do the job.

I know the T56 calls for dexron 3 but guys with '01 and '02's run sychro and love it. The pre '01's have paper blocker rings and sychromesh is bad but the 01/02's have carbon blocker rings and it wont hurt them. I think I may just get dexron 3 for this fluid change. Then the next time I do a fluid change the car wont be under warrany anymore so I might try sychromesh. I'm thinking I should stick with dexron this time because if I make a claim on the tranny and the wrong fluid is in it, they wont cover it. I wouldnt worry about it except when the car is moving in first it makes a noise, it doesnt matter if the gear is engaged or not. If I'm rolling with the clutch in and put it in the first position it still makes the noise. I will show you when I come out there.

I cant wait for midnight mayhem. It will be my first track experience and good for a laugh or two.

Cordova charges $5 and your drivers license to rent one. They only have two so get there quick.

I really wouldnt go to Midnight Mayhem as your first experience. They do absolutly no track prep so you will never get a good time and its always PACKED you might get two runs in, but dont count on it. Go to a test and tune 5-10 Fridays or 12-5 Saturdays, you will be much happier.

Damn, only 2 helmets. Is there anywhere I can buy one?

Fridays havent been good since the earliest I leave DHL is 8:30. I figure it'd be a waste of time to get out to the track @ 9:00 if they stop running at 10:00. I'll try to get out to a test n tune on a saturday if possible, but I'm still going to midnight mayhem.

Great times Mark, very impressive. 120 is gettin with it.Checked on a cage yet????hahahaha

I won 1st round with a .010 light but he popped a red and I ran thru with 12.08 on a 12.15. I left at 4500 and spun. Next round I went back to how I used to launch with nitto's,a kind of slip and dump and netted a 1.77.I could feel it was a good pass and ran it thru giving him a win.I approached the timing shack pretty nervous and got rewarded with the slip I was looking for. I'm very happy with this car.

^ Cool site. Hopefully it takes off, and hopefully the "2Fast2Furious" section stays mature and realistic, especially knowing how the QC "import tuners" are.

Yes, the track prep for Midnight Mayhem sucks, but 2 runs?!?!?! Maybe if you're the early to bed sort. I've been to at least 4 and after 2am, things start to really thin out. After 3am, you can almost run continuously. I've gotten as many as 8 runs in a night, most after 2am.

I get plenty of runs at Midnight Mayhems. The only downfall to MM besides the orgy of ricers, is the lack of decent track prep, as previously mentioned. If you go there, go there with the mentality of having a fun night of racing, not the mentality of "I'm gonna work on getting my best times tonight", because it pretty much will not happen.

IMO, the Midnight Mayhems are a blast as long as you don't have to work early that Saturday.

Hey now, it's more of an attitude they associate with their cars. I used to own a Supra and not even a C/F hood on it. hehe...\

My bro and I should be there for MM. Lookin forward to meeting some of you guys.
Absolut, will you be around for it?

Looks like we are going to be at Cordova this weekend for sure, for another round of testing. Anybody gonna be there? I'll try to post some pics up of the car if I can figure out how.

It depends, There were a couple that were decent for a good number of runs, but on average it is packed and Ive rarely seen anyone I know get a good number of runs in. My point really was that its not the best for a first time track experience.
