I'm going to be there all the time once my car gets up here. It'll be so nice having a track 15 minutes from me I'll be there all the time until May.

I had a 2.0 60 ft on street tires. I also had a SES light and found out after that I had a clogged driver's side cat. The Mac cats took care of that.
I hope to get out to Milan the first couple of weeks they are open for 'test n tune'.

I'm probably getting dynoed at Livernois next week when I have them put sub-frames on. After that I'm going to head to the track.

I actually work in the 4410 Goss Rd Building (Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, AFD & Purchasing).
Let me know what kind of numbers your car puts down. Hell, let me know what day and time and I'll come up and watch. They have a Mustang Dyno at Livernois. So, the numbers will be lower if comparing them to a previous dyno pull on Dyno Jet.
I hope to get to the track within the next two weeks.
Take Care,
Bill

Livernois has a mustang AND a dynojet. The dynojet is a movable one they take to shows and stuff. I believe they'll let you pull on both. I forgot to ask when I set up the appointment today, I'll call them back tomorrow, I want on a dynojet because that's what I'm going to be tuned on later.
I'm going on Tuesday at 5:30, then leaving the car overnight to get the subframes on. I'm actually putting the car back to stock for this(only removing a lid and blocking off the SSRA, no big deal) cause I want baseline numbers.
Car is also black.

If you want the name and number of another local place let me know. There is a place called Dyno Dave's. It is about a 30 min drive from here, off Telegraph Rd. I had my last car on their dyno once, nice guy. If you dyno back in Indy bring the graph with you. I would love to take a look. Are you going to do an 02 reading too?
I found it:

I'm just doing it in Indy tomorrow. That way I can put my parts back on before I bring it back up here. I'm not getting an O2 reading either, since it's stock I figure there is no point. And I'm not gonna mess with tuning it anyway until after I put all my new parts on anyway, which would completely mess with the reading anyway.

The weather looks crappy for the first test and tune at Milan this weekend!
I still don't have the insurance back on the TA but was going to head down with some buddies and the SuperComp rail car for the initial shake down after my winter engine rebuild...weather permitting of course. Anyone else looking to head down this weekend?

My car is out and up here. Even better, I got 27 mpg on the way up here, I used to only get 23 on the highway so it's running good. Also, got it dynoed saturday, 315 hp and 327 tq. That's with only a lid, I was happy. It's been a good couple of days.

Those are some good numbers for only a lid. Especially the MPG part, wow 27mpg is very nice. Have you ever had your car to the track before? I can't remember reading anything about your times.
Later,
Bill
I look forward to seeing your car, sounds nice.

Yeah, that sounds good. Give me a call when before you head over and I'll come down. 54715
I run 13.3 @107 consistently at the track. I've only managed to pull a 2.1 60', that's what is holding me back. When I go the track up here I'm gonna drop the tire pressure and see if that will help.

The Eagle F1's are the stock tires, which is what I have. They suck, but maybe we can experiment together with the pressure. On my normal pressure I couldn't launch at anything more than ~2500, and that was with slipping it so it wouldn't just spin away. They might be better on an auto though.

Isn't it supposed to rain tomorrow night? I'm picking my car up from Livernois tomorrow night so probably won't have time. I might be interested in going on saturday, I'll probably install my throttle body that morning. So I'll probably be going this saturday or next wednesday.

Good luck to you. I wish I was going :-(
By the way, get there early or pay the long line price. It was not that unusual to have a line that took 50mins to an hour to get through the last few times I was there.
Anyway, Have Fun and DON't Break anything.
Take care,
Bill

Did you end up going to Milan? If so, what times did you run.
I just noticed another area you could pick up some good time. You are running 245 tires......If you could get a set of 17's and run 275s or better yet a 315/35/17 Nitto drag you would drop your 60' times considerably. If you run in the high 12's with a 245 tire. You may see a .02 drop in 1/4 times going to a 275 or a 315 tire. To get the most out of your converter you need to hook up off the line.
Good Luck,
Bill

My defrost stopped working so I took it in. They had to replace the heat control panel and discovered the cable that controls the heat output is broken. The defrost is fixed but they had to order the cable. I have no a/c and can't turn the heat off! I still went to Milan and spun like crazy! But I ran a best of 13.15 105 mph. The car has 30,000 miles.
