No Front Plate For IL Lets give this a try. Dont know if we dont try. Also dont know if this is true or not but I heard Vettes dont have to have a front plate already. If this is true everyone should be able to go without a front plate.

i lived in IL for 1 1/2 years, 01-02, front plates annoy me, they couldnt get me since my truck was still titled in IN. a few friends i met out there got pulled over and used the excuse that the car was leased and the couldnt put holes in the front bumper (on cars that didnt have plate holders). if i recall vettes/vipers and some other top end cars and antiques didnt require them.

Having "bubb rubb" on there is really cool. Very intelligent. I'm sure the comment 'the whistles go WOOOOOOOO WOOOOO' will be very persuasive. Whoever wrote that is uber-ignorant.

All we can do is try. Worse that happens....nothing. Wish though people wouldn't do stupid crap with it. I would really like to see the front plate crap go away.

Wow, I am glad sometimes that I no longer live in Illinois. I maintain residency since there are no state taxes for military but stuff like that is just plain embarrassing.

i go to court monday got a picture of it zip-tied to the bumper, hopefully they just throw it out
