hey guys i am a newbie to the 1/4 mile track but i am looking to get a little seat time piloting the SS. does anyone ever go to this track that may want to meet up for a little racing, etc.

that is the only track that lets me run my XX second passes without a cage they are getting a lot better at track prep as well.

Nope. They're doing Tuesday and Wednesdays now. They have been for about a month I think.

i much prefer 41 over 66. plus they will let you do anything basicly, its a better enviroment for me personally. makes me feel more comfortable when im racing. and as mdblackz28 said, they are getting much better at track prep.. at least up untill the 1/8 mile.

well they both are about equidistant from me so i am ok with either. i would ljust like to meet some other people up there as i am quite the dragstrip newbie...

with the mods in my sig without juice how difficult would it be to break into the 12's?

I had the 320 hp 322 torque before the longtubes and ORY.

I will either be on bald dunlop(came on car) or pretty decent eagle F1's.

Slight chance of nitto DRs too...

Do you think that it is possible for me to break 12s with the bald dunlops

yeah if i didnt get 12s with the spray i would sell my car...

i really want to shoot for 12s the way it sits now.

What would be a good way to launch with the given tires? i was figuring a 2500 rpm launch with feathering the clutch til i got good traction and letting her rip. powershift the 1-2 and then just speed shift the 2-3 and possibly the 3-4

I like going sunday mornings, usually really slow if you arrive around 9. We have a decent size group that usually goes together and all our cars are street cars (mostly bolt ons).

You'll see us with a stock looking 9 second evo in a couple weeks, if you wanna join i'll pm you when we plan on going again.

I have been to 41 a few times and ran my best times there. Its a good track and hooks pretty good (of course I can pretty much dead hook with my MT drag radials on the street anyways though...hehe) I think a few of us from the fort wayne area are planning on going to 41 Sunday the 25th of this month.

I go to 41 1-2 times a year, Ill be up there on the 24th. I like 41 for the fact that if u wanted to you can run 20+ times in matter of hours, unlike 66 you wait all god damn day for 1 run. Plus there not as hard on you for not having the necc. saftey ****

I ran my 9.61 @ US41 in July. I have always like racing there vs. some other tracks.
