Default US41... Any good?

I have been there a few times and never really had a problem. A few of my buddies always tell me the track is junk, the guys who own it shortened the track to make the cars faster there(LOL), shitty conditions etc etc. basically just telling me I am a dumbshit for running there.
What do you guys know about the track or any factual information that I could throw at em to shut them up. They love 66 and say 41 is dangerous and is rigged

Hmm I have always run within a few tenths at 41 from what I have at 66. I know some pretty serious heads up guys that run at both and have the same results. Track prep IMO is hit or miss, this year it seems they are trying alittle harder to make the track as consistant as possible.

Shortened the track? LOL! That's a new one.

Sure, US41 ain't a high dollar track, but it's plenty safe and I always run great there!

there is just too many people at the other tracks, I like 41 because its a laid back track. And you don't have listen to an annoying announcer like some other places

I like going on a sat or sun because I run the car at my pace, fire up the grill, let the car cool off between passes and still get 8-10 passes, and it only costs $25. RT66 on the other hand is a total cluster ****, get out of of work at 5, hustle to get there and get in three runs for the bargan price $40, yes its a great track but it's nearly impossible to do any real tuning there. The worst part is I only live 15 minutes awy from 66 and never want to go there.

that does suck. Thats why I am a big fan of 41. You can park the car, cook some burgers and screw around, and get in line and wait no longer than 10-15min and your seeing the tree, unlike other places, that you can finish your run, get in line right away and wait atleast an hour before your up again.

That was my big thing. people say that 41 is like racing on ice... The times I went there, it was fine. I was pulling 2.0 60's on street tires. Can't be that bad. The lines are never long and for the money, it's a good time. Drive for some can suck but hey, what can you do.

But for the guys I know that say the track was shortened, the track is uneven etc etc, BS!!!

Oh and by the way, 41 is where magnus holds the cam only record and SI record if I am not mistaken, can't be that bad of a track.
