Muncie dragway sat. 10/29
I am going with a few other ford **** and wanted to know if anyone else plans on going. The weather should be good.
Gates open at 11AM and dail in is at around 2PM I think.
I'm just going to get in 6 or 7 good runs and then heading home, I have a party to go to that night.
Who's down for it????? Post up. I'll be in a 2000 black SS with white hockey stick stripes, look for me if you go!
I'm spray'n 150 this time.

Their website says gates open at 11 a.m.
Time Trials start at Noon
Racing begins at 4 p.m.
You sound pretty excited to meet me JRracing....but I'm really not that exciting in person. You'd be bored with me after a few minutes

His clutch will slip on the bottle but he said he would race me with out using the n2o and me using it!! I think he knows he will get a beat'n. My 11.45 best should now be about 11.20 or 11.30 with the 150 jets.
His best NA time I think was around 11.7X, so I don't see him making up that much time with the few mods he has done. I think on his 175 shot he should be able to run a 10.90 or a little better.

I went to Muncie a few saturdays ago and the entry fee was 20 dollars to race. I believe you only get 3 time trial runs for each class you enter....but I have seen guys hot lap it back around and get in line, but I don't know if they want you doing that or not. You also get at least 1 run when the racing starts, and if you advance in the brackets you obviously get more runs in. If you lose in the 1st or 2nd rounds of racing you can also do a 10 dollar buy back and get back into the action. When I went I made it to the final 8 cars, but had to go up against a built bracket racing car, and he kicked my ***.

I think I can get in more runs then that! BUt I'm not sure. They are pretty laid back out there. And I know a few of the guy's a little, so hopefully they will let me keep going up. I want to leave at or brfore 4. I have to be home for a party!!!!
Last time I raced out there, I was using the n2o and had only ran 2 times with it and the best was a 11.52 so I dailed in at 11.47. The first race I won due to a guy red lighting, the 2nd I had a bye. and the 3rd was a 02 C5 he had a 13.12 vs my 11.47. He had a huge head start, I caught him at the end and ran 11.45 to his 13.18.
So I beat myself by .02 of a sec. What a close one!
Now I'm hoping for 11.20 or 11.30 and I will be pleased.
