Anyone race at Rock Falls Raceway in Eau claire WI
just wondering if anyone from this site goes here to race? I might be making a few trips here this summer when i am home. I am from grantsburg so it would be nice to go there and see what the beast will do with the new goodies. And i would like to meet some new people as well.

If you do go, go on a regular test and tune day. The $35 fun days are usually extremely packed, and the track prep is usually pretty bad. I personally wont go there again because cedar falls Iowa is about the same distance for me, it hooks much better, and its cheaper.

Been to Rock Falls 2 times last year. Yep like they said go on the drag or test and tune day because the fun days = 60's.
Hoping to get to Cedar Falls next year if it stays running.

Been going there for 3 yrs now. I only do fun days, since test and tunes are like $69/something like $15 for the braket race at the end on the day.
when I did going, I had a 4x4 3/4ton pickup , with 4-wheel drive traction was not an issue. It tends to be a little slick. but friend's 02 SS ran a 13.1 stock with dr's on a fun day.
only went three times this year, and everytime I went it was open time trials, second time I went I got about 10 runs in before elimations started. But if its suppose to be clear sunny and about 70* yeah its going to be packed. but what track would be packed with those conditions.
but now I got a goat, so will see.
Side note, track on the east side(near the broder) of iowa, suppose to have the NHRA max 1* down slope to it, might make run out there, and get 12.5 all stock time slip

You guys could drive on over to WIR GLD is faster but WIR is only really crowded on the Real Street Drag nights, so crowded in fact they have begun to lose potential racers, last night of the season I sat in line till I saw the staging lanes and then didn't bother going in there were people who did not get even one run in the way I hear it. Good show but sucks if you actually want to race without betting $300+.
