Hey hows the car running? I apologize for now making it down there to help tune. I have been very busy lately I can help with any basic questions you might have about tuning if you are having trouble getting started.

Im from MN, just got my LS1 on Saturday. I live a couple hours north west of the cities. Anyone ever put a clutch in, or would anyone be willing to help me with a clutch install sometime? Also, anyone planning on going to Back to the Fifties, or Car Craft summer nats. Im positive im going to the summer nats, and maybe to Bttf.

I'm considering it.
I don't have anything special to show off but i'd love to sit and hang.
I don't know if I can justify the cost and the 3 day commitment, (I think that's how it works)
I'm def rockin my turbo saucony's for sure tho.

The pre-register cost is $45 for 3 days. I usually go on Saturday and Sunday. If you decide to go, stop by and chat.

I imagine you need to actually be there for all 3 days right, otherwise you lose spots and it gets complicated and such right?

no you just cruise around and park when you find a nice spot
you can enter and exit as much as you want
and you don't need to be there all three days.

Ouch! I am just being REALLY easy on mine. It still breaks them loose at 45 when it downshifts to 5500 though

On a side note, anyone local done the !PCV mod or modified the system to reduce oil consumption? I burned 1.5 quarts in my first 1100 miles with 10W-30 oil. About 100 miles ago I changed to 10W-40 hoping to fix the problem. So far I dont have huge black piles of burnt oil on the floor beneath my tips from startup but I would still like to updgrade the PCV system.
