Norwalk Track Day
I'm in the process of setting up a track day at Norwalk in Ohio.
The original post for this started on another forum (I'm in both but post more often in the other).
http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63143
Here's the info as it is today:
Track day is April 24th (Monday)
Starts at 9 and we'll go 4 hours to start...if we decide to go longer we can make that decision at the track. Cost will be $30 per car, Both lanes open, track prepped to 330' and two track staff members to run the lights and do the time slips. That way we can run quickly with none of us having to screw with the time slips. You guys can do the math to figure out the individual price. I think we have 60 now and growing. The tally is on the original post as I will keep that up to date (try anyway). If you don't want to run but you want to hang out you are also welcome. Only the cars that are running have to pay.
It would be great to get a bunch of people out there!
FYI - If your car spills oil on the track or causes any other additional charges you are responsible for picking up those additional fees yourself.
Norwalk's site is.
www.norwalkraceway.com
A portable dyno will be on site via Back Street Performance ($75 for three pulls) www.backstreetper.com
Let me know who is interested!
Thanks!

you might want to try a smaller track that has weekends open. like dragway 42, or the salem dragstrip. i've heard that the tracks aren;t as nice but it would prob be cheaper and they might be more willing to work around your schedule.

We did it last year and the price is worth it for the track.
Comes out to around 30ish a person depending on how many people sign up.
Post up and I'll add you to the list.
I'll try to keep up with questions between the two boards as best as I can!
