I talked to Speed INC and they told me to get Taylor race wires and NGK plugs and I've been very happy with them.

Plug wires are soo short on Ls1's I doubt it will make any differnce from one kind to another just as long as they don't come apart easy or melt from heat.

I have Taylor wires on mine and NGK plugs that I picked up from speed inc. I only changed the stock wires on mine because they were soo suck onto the stock plugs I ended up pulling a wire out of the boot on acident.

I had a bad experience with Taylor wires. Pulled them off once (not long after they were installed) and 2 of the 8 came apart. I have had my MSD's off a couple of times...no problems.

Why are you going to tell him to go with a colder plug on a stock car? It would definately run better on the stock heat range...

Sounds like NGK's fairly popular, wires pretty much anything just as long as they don't pull apart. Thanks for the help
