Just wondering if I would remember anyone's rides. I seen a decent group of vettes from MN. I was car-less due to my axle still not being shipped. Chime in and let me know what u were driving.

 

A friend of mine had a black Z06 there with black Z06 wheels on Nitto DRs.

 

I was there....didnt have my car with tho...just watching...A buddy of mine had the green LT1 and his best run was a 12.4 @ 117 I believe...obviously has some work done to it...

I also went today to watch the import/sport compacts...LOL that was a good laugh...its pretty funny when a car hits in the 13's and people in the stands start cheering....

 

I seen the Green LT1, sounded good, and ran some nice times. Almost went over to talk to him. I was only 2 cars down from him in the pits. Was w/ a few friends in a mid 11 sec. Yellow Malibu, a Red 68 camaro that never left the trailor (had the chassis inspected) and a black Cutless.

The black vette looked good, as did the silver one w/ the same black Zo6 wheels. Also, the yellow and blue ones, which both had CCW wheels, looked real nice.

 

Ya I remember the yellow malibu and the black cutlass...

I saw some GTO's there as well...there was a yellow and a blue one I believe, both were running low 13's if I remember right.

and a good handful of corvettes...the Blue one sounded amazing going down the track, but I noticed a lot of the guys in the corvettes weren't launching very well, and making up for there bad launch in the end...I'm guessing they would run way better with a better launch.

and on the topic of Rock Falls, when I went on sunday to see the import/sport compacts there was a 2005 or 2006 GTO running a few passes, and he was running 14.5-14.8 1/4's which just made the ricers think they were that much faster...I was disapointed in that guy

 

14.8's!! That is just sad in any year GTO.

 

Anyone see a truck running like 15.Xs? My work buddy was out there with his truck.

ummmmm...........LOL, I dont know. LOL, I think its black. Wow, I should have never brought it up! He asked me to go out there with him this Saturday and I told him I might if I can get my interface for hptuners working.

 

I seen a Dodge cummins run a 12 flat, a black duramax runnnin 13.3's, A white stepside mid 90's chevy truck running 15's I believe, A white 13 sec. 24 valve cummins that gernaded his motor (he was running 57 pounds of boost the last 2 years). Can't think of any other trucks right now.

 

Maybe its the white one. Anyways, guess its not really important.
