Default SPM open house pics (& carshow?)

Some pics from our open house...

We're a CNC Job Shop in the Chicago area and have an annual open house for all of our customers. We like to have some toys here for everyone to look at too. By the way... if you're a machinist, we're always hiring!

The vending machines are for our "standard" perishable tooling. It's easier to put the regular stuff in a machine which is hooked up via the internet to our tooling supplier. That way we don't waste time looking for or ordering 10-32 taps or other similar items. Plus it allows us to track tool usage more closely.

Your shop is huge. How many machining centers do you have? Looks like you could damn near eat off of the floor too.

How 'bout hiring someone who has no machining experience but very willing and fast at learning? I hate being unemployed....

Over 70 machines now.

I assume that if you're on here you have some type of mechanical aptitude, so if you're really interested, let me know. Our very best guys all started here with no experience and developed into excellent machinists.
