I won't be making the LS1 shootout now, car got crashed a friggin deer decided to bounce itself off the front of the camaro last nite. bumper was ok but it caused my hood to release and fly up and smash through my windshield.
my custom paint obviously is ruined, hood is ruined, windshield smashed down to the dashboard..interior is covered in glass, total mess. i got a nice face full of glass in the eyes, mouth, etc.
i was only going like 25-30 mph at most,too. unreal.
can't believe the year i've had. this just tops it off. i quit. REALLY not happy about the car being all banged up. constantly breaking parts all year like i have was bad enough, this just SUCKS.

Sorry to hear that, I was on Central one time by Oakton Community College and 3 deer ran right out in front of me I nearly plowed them all I had to swerve in oncoming traffic...I pretty much hate deer

btw: you have time to still run... bust out the shop vac, I'm sure you can borrow a hood from someone, and windshield replacement can be done fast too.
most insurance companies carry glass repair coverage/replacement!

That does suck. Sorry to hear.
I heard from a GM engineer who conducted safety tests on all cars that the Fbods were the worst gm car ever for deer accidents. Makes ya think, doesnt it?

ibanez: i'm done man. i've been killing myself all season on this car left and right only to have constant problems. i don't post all the issues i've had all year in here, some of you know how bad of a season i've had, its been a nightmare and this just tops it off.
once i determine i've def done for the year i'll toss up a post in drag racing with my timeslips from what track passes i was able to make.

being burnt out with car issues suck. maybe calling it a year and prepping for next year would be best!

Sean, Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Main thing is your OK! I know your bummed, but there is absolutely nothing you could have done to prevent this, just a freak accident.
