Default Cage builder in the Chicago area?

Hey folks! Anyone know of a good roll cage builder here in the Chicago area for my 2005 GTO? I need a 6 point cage fabbed up.

TIA,

Mark

Becareful, all the good places are booked for months & months or years even.

Too many hack shops talk a good game & then can't deliver quality safe work.

Good luck.

I would try Performance Concepts I think they are in Joliet. Call FLP and ask Mitch he should have the number. Also can try Behind Bars Race Cars and Alston Race Cars they are farther up north. I would recommending going with guys who have been doing cages for years for real race cars not someone who just knows how to weld. But with all the good chassis shops you are going to have to wait a few months but remember the cage is there to save your life.

Performance concepts is the best in the state. You probably are not going to get in.

He has people waiting for years to get in. Jim's new shop is in Mokena

708 479 7949, can't hurt to call, but don't hold ur breath.

He worked on my 6.50 Pro-Modified, came out great, only guy I trust with my ***.

JC is the best by far. Here are some examples of his work on Dan's old Outlaw Mustang. It might be a while before you get in. I called for a customer that needs a cage for a GTO and he said he's booked for a year at least.

Well....I don't think I can wait a year for a cage. If I get to my goal of 9's next season, I'm going to need it much sooner.....

Yes it did and if it wasnt for JC of Performance Concepts great cage he built Dan would probably be dead. Instead he was out of the car before the safety crews even got to him. Dan will tell anyone he owes JC his life.
