I used to carry one of those police batons, the kind that extend. Now I carry a louisville with a couple of softballs in the trunk. I dont remember the last time I played softball, but I do remember the look on the SOB's face that tried to get stupid for no reason at all.

in illinois, they are illegal, the second you bring those out in a fight/swearing match, it is considered a deadly weapon which equals a misdimeaner........then when u use them or threaten to use them, its assult with a deadly weapon, class x felony....worst you can get besides murder..........save urslef the jail time, and just deck him in the face and say he had a weapon....problem sovled in ur favor

I would not carry them, at least when you are out cruising, you would be VERY suprised how many of us carry guns

There was a kid showing one off and threatening people with it the last time we were out.

He later found out from a cop that just about everyone there had a gun
