Car's home. Filthy, but home. RPM was wrong when they told me I could get a 5 disc. Only 3 disc is available for the f-body. Whatever. Bill was only $1150. Didn't even charge me sales tax on the converter. Rodney's the man.
Broke an exhaust hanger on the way home. Fortunately, it didn't drag. My dad followed me down and luckily, he was behind me when it happened. Had Midas re-weld it and add another hanger.
First impressions of the new converter are good. Haven't tried the spray, yet. I don't know if only Chad can modify the tune to lock up 3rd at WOT, or whether SDB can do it with his software. Hope to make it up to Hall's tonight.

I thought only 2 disc was available....wither way should work out well. Try to break it in a bit before hammering on it! $1150 for pulling the tranny, inspecting, new $995 converter and reinstall is incredible!
I will try to shoot up to halls after 10 or 11...

id see ya up there except im on tranny rebuild #4 but props to nate and joe for doing a great job on the cam swap...car halls *** in 1stand 2nd then redlines. I think ive proven my bottom end after 7-10 6900rpm redlines on stock bolts

one of joes buddys, or ex buddys i should say. thanks for the tune chad the idle is totally fucked though. it surges real bad and dies alot....no bigge as the when it goes to die now ill just push the clutch in!!!!

Yes, it sold, HOWEVER there is some issues the new owener has. He was under the impression that it was a Lingenfelter 427 twin turbo, with built 4L80E transmission, HRE wheels, and was clocked at going 8.45 at 180 mph in teh 1/4 on stock radials, and that it went 265 mph top end. Other than that, the guy is really stoked about getting the Vette!
